This premium holographic glitter takes its names from the rare event when the moon takes on a bluish tint. Certain events such as a volcanic eruption or forest fires will cause the spread of dust particles or smoke in the air. The addition of these particles released in to the atmosphere at just the right size to preferentially scatter red light changes the color of the moon from white to blue. Now the scientific definition of a blue moon is the additional full moon that appears in a subdivision of a year. That's no fun so we'll just stick with the first use of the term in the naming of this glitter. Add a little dip-dip-dip-dip-dip Blue Mooon to your crafting project.
